Apricot Kernel Oil is a food grade oil that is great for use on the skin and scalp. It is a lightweight emollient, and gentle enough for sensitive and aging skin. On its own it can be used for moisturizing, after-shave, massage and general skin treatment. It can also be used as part of recipes for soaps, lotions, lip balms, and bath oils. In aromatherapy, Apricot Kernel Oil is used as a base or a carrier oil to which a few drops of essential oil may be added.
